2016 NCTE Children's Book Awards: Orbis Pictus - On Saturday, November 21st at the National Council of Teachers (NCTE) Annual Conference, the winners for the Orbis Pictus Award were announced. Winner:
Drowned City: Hurricane Katrina & New Orleans by Don Brown (HMH Books for Young Readers, August 2015) - This was one of the books on my Mock-Sibert list.
