The Sibert Award looks at books for "Children range from birth through age fourteen.” Last week, I shared the guidelines for the Sibert Award and for things to consider if you were to do a Mock Sibert. Picture books are great for reading through and comparing lots of books with a group of students However, since some years, the award skews older, I thought I would share some books for older readers. Here are some books that I would love to see get some recognition.
